I am currently offering virtual (telehealth) and in-person appointments. I have been providing some virtual therapy since 2016 and am confident that we can make this a comfortable and convenient experience for you, if you choose this option. I am licensed in several states, so I am able to offer virtual therapy in Wyoming in addition to my home state of Colorado. I offer in-person counseling in Fort Collins, Colorado. My office is located near the corner of Harmony and Timberline.

15 Min. FREE Consulation

Research shows that the relationship between the counselor and the client is one of the most telling indicators of change; the more you and I enjoy each other, the more likely you are to reach your goals! Use the 15 minute free telephone consultation to let me know a little bit about yourself. It will also give you a great chance to get to know me; my personality, my counseling style, and anything else you need to know.

45 Min. Counseling Session

A 45 minute counseling session is a great option for some clients. This length of time works well for most clients who are in “maintenance mode;” those who have significant progress but still desire check-ins from time to time. Having regular 45 minute counseling sessions allows clients to maintain their tools, be held accountable to their goals, and get a “mental health tune-up.” The cost for a 45-50 minute counseling session is $175.

60 Min. Counseling Session

60 minute appointments are the most popular appointment time for newer clients who are actively working toward their stated goals. The full hour allows clients to have space to decompress, learn new tools, and gain insights. Clients choose this appointment more often than others because they feel it gives them the space to go deeper into their personal work and see results more rapidly than shorter appointments. The cost for a 60 minute appointment in $210.

90 Min. Counseling Session

90 minute (or double) sessions are a great option for select clients. I recommend this structure for most couples, as it allows us to have more in-depth conversations, without anyone feeling left out. I also recommend these sessions for individuals who are working through trauma, grief, or other intensive situations. I believe that if you invest in yourself and commit to the process, these sessions reward you for your hard work. The cost for a 90 minute counseling session is $350.

Insurance and No Surprise Act

In order to allow you the most freedom in your treatment plan and goals, I do not work directly with insurance companies, meaning I am an out-of-network provider. There are many reasons for this, but primarily, private pay clients are more free determine the appropriate frequency and treatment modalities of our appointments together. I am happy to provide you with superbills that you can send to your insurance company. While I cannot guarantee reimbursement, your specific healthcare plan may reimburse you for out of network services.

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act,  you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” (GFE) explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers are required to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services, if requested.

You have the right to receive a GFE for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services, if requested.

You have the right to ask me for a GFE before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your GFE, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your GFE.
